    hey, trying to understand/interprete the results of this chi square test of significance. Any help would be great. thanks.

    The important figures* are listed under the Pearson Chi-Square row; the value of the chi-square statistic, degrees of freedom, and your probability (p, from which you infer statistical significance).

    Usually an alpha-level of p<=0.05 is specified for hypothesis testing, therefore...


    * All are important to some extent, but those listed above are most typically reported. Remember you cannot infer association from the chi-square test alone, merely statistical independence.
