    To Place:

Phil Mickelson 5/2 (won here in 2008)
Watney 13/2 (won here last year)
Woods (won here in 2007, on bit of form and came 10th on this course last year even when off form)
Scott 15/2 (T6 last year, feeling he could "bring it" this weekend)

Might make a little Lucky 15 with €15 if bored

Tiger Woods @ 7/1 Win - with Ladbrokes

And the following 3 each way with Paddy Power 1/4 odds first 6

    Sergio Garcia @ 33/1

Sergio Garcia, Luke Donald from the top of the market, along with maybe Jason Day or Rickie Fowler.

Tiny nibble on Zach Johnson and Thomas Bjorn.

Not bet yet but thats what I am leaning toward.

    Watney @ 40/1 with Betdaq
Kuchar @ 49/1 with Betdaq and 7.2/1 for the place

Paddy Power paying out on six places but only top price on 4/74...Westwood, Schwartzel, Scott and McDowell.

Best of luck all...looking forward to another good weekend of golf.

Heart over heard a tad, but I have at least 2 bets already I reckon will be in the mix on Sunday.

Added Garcia @ 33/1 over Haas. Latter is a massive 55/1, loves Bermuda and won a couple of weeks ago too. Will I cave in and throw an extra couple quid on him? Who knows :o But those odds are ridiculous.

YE YANG my sources tell me he destroyed the course in his practice round.
Im just going to back him for 1st round leader be looking for around 100/1.
I will assess the situation come Saturday for a proper punt.

I think laying both woods and rory is the way to go here on Betfair. But i dont want to get raped before cheltenham so will not be laying anyone.

Ask your "source" to clarify what he means by 'destroyed the course'. I destroyed my local course last week on my first outing of the year and it definitely wasn't a good thing. Also could you ask your source to tell Yang to smile a bit more. Seems a bit down in the dumps.

I've had a small bet on Jonathan Byrd @220.0 on Betfair. Came 10th here last year and has two top ten finishes from four events this year (missed the cut in the other two which is why he's such a big price I suppose. Seems to be either really good or awful. Hopefully, this will be a good week for him.)

Are PP paying 6 places in shops only cos I backed Laird , Bradley & Bjorn EW online and says only paying 5 places. I rang them to double check and was told that they are only paying 5 places.

"After what happened last Sunday - Tiger shoots 62, I end up winning to go to world number one - obviously people are going to talk, but I think everyone has to remember that there's 80 other players in this field or whatever it is (it's 74) and it's not just about a couple of guys''

Gonna be some final round factoring in some of the big names in around that top dozen or so in the leaderboard. Hopefully Bradley can produce one more very good round.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,123 ✭✭✭the whole year inn

Lay bubba for at least 100 profit and a finish in top 5 is another 40

I did T. Woods to beat McIlroy in a mythical 2-ball last nite with Paddypower and i was wondering does anyone know how that market was settled with Woods withdrawing during the round?.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

I may have jinxed Bradley and Tiger last night

I imagine they'll refund you're bet. I'd get onto them finding out clarification through their Live Help.
