How long does it take to get from D'Olier St. to Liffey Valley S.C. in the early morning?

About 40 minutes depending on traffic.

Far faster to take a 25a or 25b (15-20 minutes) from Aston Quay, or 25, 66/a/b, 67 from Westmoreland Street (20-25 minutes) to the stop on the N4 just after the M50 and walk into Liffey Valley from there.

It's right beside the shopping centre.

You should consider taking one of the Lucan Road buses (to stop 2213) from Westmoreland St instead of the 40. Much quicker. 25, 66 & 67s will all take you there.
