    I have a toshiba laptop
    Satellite L450D-11W

    - AMD Athlon™ X2 Dual-Core Processor QL-65

    AMD Athlon™ X2 Dual-Core Processor for Notebook PCs QL-65
    clock speed : 2.1 GHz
    2nd level cache : 1 MB

    - 4096 MB (2048 +2048) DDR2 RAM (800MHZ)

    320gb Hard Drive (5400)

Would it be worth upgrading anything on this to get a bit longer out of it, ram (more) or hard drive (bigger or ssd)

    Thinking of another Toshiba (i5)

    Thanks

you won't notice any performance increase with more ram. I'd say its a waste of money upgrading it. Its just not a great machine. An ssd would definitely speed it up, but they're expensive and lack storage.
