how to cancel self emplyment status.

    hi!
    I am PAYE worker more than a 6 months,but before i was self employed.I would like to know what is the procedure for cancel my self employment status.Is there any special form what has to be filled? Thank you

    Just ring you local social welfare office and they will sort it no problem.

    Thats all I did

    It's a form TRCN1. You must also ensure your final year tax return is filed. So if you ceased self employment in 2011, you must file your 2011 form 11 also.

    Did you cancel it with Revenue by completing a TRCN1 form?

    someone told me, i should write a letter to my tax office, to tell them that i want to stop it. I realy havent done anything with it.( havent got any profit,paid any tax, etc)

    I just wanted to register on PAYE anytime and get P21 statement,bet they told me that i have to cancel my self employment status,.Forgot to ask HOW :D
