Just got this task as well. The one task I didn't want. -____-

I'm planning on making a vegetarian stir fry with brown rice and freshly squeezed orange juice. You could do any pasta/rice dish and use the brown kind instead of white. Use lots of fruit and veg, meat isn't exactly important. Risotto is another good dish, or a pasta bake, or tagliatelle. Smoothies are another option for the drink.

Great thanks ws thinking chicken stir fry with brown rice lots of veg , fresh ginger is meant to be good too in it.
Also a berry smoothie lots of blueberries, blackeberries, strawberries

My teacher told us cooking stir fry is not a good idea as vegetables are easily over cooked or under cooked and every vegetable has to be the same size! Why not try chicken curry with brown rice? Or spaghetti bolognese using brown spaghetti (whole wheat). I had to do this task for mock cookery and did spaghetti. I am glad I got to choose the one for next month - Task 1. Love baking. Already practiced in a home ec class and went very well.
Teacher was impressed and has the other group to work on (shes gonna have a hard time, they don't care about anything).

Hey :) my friend made a chicken curry and a berry smoothie! she found this really easy and we also had practice classes that are the same as the actual JC and she got them done fairly fast :) Good luck!

I have to plan out the cost of the main meal so do I just put the costs on the design brief cost section?
