Difficulty level: it depends on the developers' level of expertise with WordPress, and with the complexity of what you're looking for.

Reasonable cost: again this is very subjective. What some people have said that they consider reasonable prices for bespoke design work that requires specific technical expertise is very far from what others would consider reasonable (particularly when the former are amateurs or inexperienced and the latter are full time professionals). You'll get a range of different offers if you post the job here.
