I laughed at the dejected face on the guy at the end looking for a high five.

She's a bit cringey. Saw her interviewing Djokovich also. She's up for the craic anyway

Wonder who does the washing up?

Talk about living the dream. It's not often I dream and his curly mop doesn't make an appearance at some stage

Love the double entendre for the thread name.

Did he pick the wrong tennis player ?
It is a bit cringy the whole thing.

I know it look like living the dream, but that whole media thing would do your head in very quick.

He needs a stylist (or an honest friend) before he's let out again. He looks like a lollipop.

Isn't he going out with Caroline Wozinaki not Marie Sharapova?

The scene: Rory McIlroy's (Aged 10 and a half) bedroom, sometime during 2000....

Rory: 'Ma, when I grow up I'm going to be the best golfer in the world'
Ma: 'Yes dear, now go to sleep'
Rory: 'I'm going to win the US Open by more shots than anyone'
Ma: 'Yes dear, now go to sleep'
Rory: 'And I'm going to marry the best tennis player in the world and we're going to play together in Madison Square Gardens'
Ma: 'Rory, you and your dreams! Now go to sleep!'

There's something about Rory and the success that just brings a smile to my face. He seems like such a well adjusted young man. As my kids said when they saw the video 'That's the sort of jumper you wear!'

Of al his achievements, I think bouncing back from Augusta last year is the greatest - so far! The whole family sat down and watched him on Sunday night - that's never happened before. He really is something special.
