The StickyBottle.com Women National League in association with Joe Daly Cycles kicks off this sunday in Bohermeen with the Waller cup.

This a flat 4 laps of a 16km circuit with a flat finish to suit the sprinters.

The race is referred to as 'mainly flat' by the organisers. For those who raced this event last year, the finish is the same, but the course has changed slightly.

The ladies race start at 1PM with Sign on from 11. Right here (will update if it changes )

For those not familiar with the format or irish races. Find the spot the races are held, in this instance, here: Bohermeen, Meath and drive to middle of it. From there, just follow people with bikes on their roof racks.

    It works.

Prizes go to the first 8 riders over the line.

    More info on the league

There is usually a good 30+ ladies at these races, but it's hard to tell how many turn up. Are you thinkng of racing it yourself? ( assuming you're not a real flat bloke )

No. Racing it myself would require a major and surgically permanent lifestyle choice.
The missus was talking about heading up.

(Which leaves me with the kids all day, thanks very much Joe Daly/Sticky bottle et al...
