WHY?

Why on some posts when people post a picture (i think),all there is in stead of a picture is a tiny white box with a red X in it can any one tell me why this is. Other people seem to be able to see the pictures as they reply to the post containing it ,it can be in new or old posts. thanks

It depends on what browser you are using or other things.
Can you link to a post where this happens?
What's your browser and PC operating system?
