A4 Boot playing silly buggers

The button on my remote sometimes opens my boot. Sometimes I can hear it 'whirr' but the soft release button doesnt open it. Sometimes I hear nothing and usually have to open manually with the key. A quick google is leading to a dodgy solenoid. Thoughts. 02 A4 btw.

It's probably the boot lock motor. You should be able to pick one upp in a scrap yard and it'll be a straight forward fix.
