    or somewhere that does decent deals on laptops please
    Mine unexpectedly died this morning and I had to pull the battery out due to a scary smell.....
    Not much of a lappy without a battery so I'm looking to upgrade!

    From Galway.
    Try the various shops; Curry's, PC World etc to see if they have something?
    You can ask in their section for deals.
    Try Dell etc online for various deals.

    You could try handing the lappy in to a shop to see if they can fix whatever was wrong and sell you a new battery.
