    Hi

I have been to see both Fota and Marborough House and Im torn between the two. Has anyone been to weddings in both? How did you find them? Which would you recommend. Any info regarding either would be much appreciated.

Viewed both of those they would be a world apart in terms of price I would have thought. We came close to booking Castlemartyr, have you had a look there?

Was at a wedding in any of them stayed the night in Castlemartyr and it was top notch, couple of people we know got married there and those weddings got rave reviews.

A wedding was starting in Maryborough while we were there look amazing out in the garden in the pavilion but what struck us was you dont get a lot of privacy during the drinks reception, there was another function in the bar/restaurant which was very busy as well.

No experience of Fota other then the tour.

I'm a professional wedding videographer in Cork. I've done a lot of weddings in Fota and its an excellent choice, The Carlton Hotel, Kinsale is worth a look.

My contact details are below, feel free to ring or send an email.

Thanks for your help guys....... think Im leaning towards Fota! Texman.... looked at Carlton aswell... wow the views were gorgeous, hotel gorgeous, but ballroom seemed quite small compared to the others. Also, we were informed we would have to ask our guests to vacate while the band set up which I really didnt like.
