I used to work in the lotto HQ and IIRC, it used to be around 80,000 tickets on a usual week, with maybe double on the busier weeks.

Thats 8 years ago now, so wouldnt be too sure how much things have changed

Are you mildly retarded and/or a stereotypical, toothless, rural bumpkin that would embarrass the normal-looking folk in your home community? Because, if not, I'd say you've got zero chance of your ticket being pulled on Saturday night.

They had to stop selling them at the local post office because every Friday the pensioners had winning streak fever. Seems to be the shows target market, will someone ring Joe Duffy to save the pensioners of Ireland!!

Eight years ago "The Celtic Tiger" was alive and kicking, it is possible that sales have slipped and rte decided to target us Dubs now that we have gotten sick sore and tired watching our country cousins enjoying the spoils each week. Now what with property charges and septic tank bills they cant splash out on the one scratch card every week .WE CAN CLEAN UP.
