Wondering if anyone has recent experience of the Medical Review Board and being called before the Assessor . I was called four weeks ago and haven't heard anything since , I have been called three times before and always heard back within a week , two at the latest . But in each of those instances I was cut off and had to appeal . I am wondering now if maybe there is a back lof or maybe if you are not going to be cut off do they not contact you ?

    John

They do not contact you if you passed the review.
They only contact you to cut you off- within a week.
Be happy- no appeal ****e for you this time.

If you have, as it would appear, been assesed as unfit for work, it might be time for you to apply for an Invalidity pension. i am presuming you are in receipt of Illness benefit. have you been on ilness benefit long?

It will be six years in march , I was stupidly hoping that there would be some chance that this would miraculously cure it self but now I need to be realistic and the reason I was asking is because I am going to go forward and apply for the Invalidity pension . I just want to be sure I have been assessed as unfit , I thought I would have heard something back from them .
