went to les pierres couchees last summer - what do you want to know???

    - I have been to Domaine de kerlann 3 times and would much prefer it to LES P. C.

The distance from the ferry suits us but I'm concerned about some reviews I've read. Is noise/sirens from the dual carrageway a big problem ? Is the beach near/good ? Overall appearance of the park good/bad ?

The drive from Roscoff was 4 hours for me - so I much prefered the 1 1/2 hours to Domaine De Kerlann:)

The beach is very near Les Pierres Couchees...just a few hundred metres....it is a nice beach...lots of kits surfers there.

The pool is outdoor only and we had a lot of wet days - the slide into the pool was a big hit with my young fella though!

The shop was tiny as was the bar....I was used to bigger and better at Kerlann!

The entertainment was held in a ...don't know what to call it....a covered in outdoor stage......it was completely separate from the bar and I felt it lacked atmosphere....

There are many trees around the campsite and the ground is very sandy and I found it very dirty/messy...some people might consider this normal for a camping type holiday but when you pay SIBLU prices I expect better.

There are many nice little villages nearby and there is a market somewhere every day of the week if you like that - we did!

I was disappointed that there was not a barbeque supplied or allowed for each mobile home....there are communal ones for each group of homes...didnt like this idea at all.

It seemed like Les Pierres Couchees had not been taken over by SIBLU for very long...

The entertainment was good and the entertainers were excellent

The site seemed very FRENCH ....compared to Kerlann which would have a big mix of Irish, Eng, French and other nationalities.

I wouldnt go back there and spoke to other Irish there who said the same....they would return to Kerlann like I will be.

    Hope this helps....

I was there as a mum on my own with 2 kids age 14 and 10

I didnt notice any noise from the dual carriageway where my mobile home was but it would depend where you are on the site.

The overall general appearance of the site in my opinion was that it was tired and run down and in need of a big face lift....cant see it happening though.

If you love the beach then it is a good spot but most of the SIBLU parks are along the coast pretty much anyway...but you can actually WALK to the beach from Les Pierres Couchees.
