Another, and the last one for today.

In picture shown, which car goes first?

Hence they both come from yield signs.

This is the one that usually confuses, here is the rule....

If you plan to turn right at a junction and a vehicle from the opposite direction wants to turn into the same road, the vehicle that is turning left
has right of way. If yours is the vehicle turning right, you must wait for the other vehicle to turn first

If you asked most people, the popular answer would be that if two cars are turning into the same road, the one turning left should give way to the car turning right because the car turning right is coming from the right from the perspective of the car turinng left and the rule as most people will quote it is to 'give way to cars coming from the right' but as the rule above says, the car turning left actually has the right of way.

I had some problems with attaching picture, but I think it's there now.
Situation is different, than just cars coming towards each other.

I always thought it was that at roads of equal stature you give way to cars coming from the right.

In this case Blue has right of way, it doesn't matter which direction they are going.

i'd say the blue car has the right of way

Neither car is turning left and both cars are not turning into the same road in the example given so I'm not sure how that's relevant? I assume the "popular" answer (the blue car has priority) is the correct one in this specific case.

The red car eats everything he sees, from trucks to prickly trees. as the blue car is on Milky Ways, He'll obviously be quicker off the line.

Blue has right of way but if he's in a 97 Micra and wearing a flat cap you'll be looking at each other all day so floor it and go! :D

Both cars are turning right. Blue is turning onto a higher priority road so I'd give it the right of way.

The Americans have many 4 way junctions. They tend not to use roundabouts.

Over there it's whoever arrives 1st gets to go first.

In reality over here I'd go carefully and avoid a crash. If that means going 2nd that's fine.

p.s. Cinio is no doubt working on his next rules of the road brainbuster :D

Try Killiney Hill Road / Military Road Junction.

Crossroads. Each road has a Stop Sign.

Rules say at a stop sign you yield to traffic on the Major Road. Because each road is governed by a stop sign all roads are equal.

    Who goes first?

I too agree with the blue car. I was always told that in a case of doubt, always yield to traffic on your right.

Good one .. However, in reality if you replaced the flat cap with a blue rinse then you would surely be there all day! So blue rinse in red car means blue car floors it .......

If there is no major road, then there is no one to yield to.

    However runs first, goes first.

    According to this article:
    (3) A driver of a vehicle approaching a road junction shall yield the right of way to another vehicle which has commenced to turn or cross at the junction in accordance with these Regulations and to a pedestrian who has commenced to cross at the junction in accordance with these Regulations.

So it should work the same as described above like works in US.
