    hi all. might go to see a few MK4 golf vans some one of the days SDI and TDI. any hints or tips ye could give me for buying one of them? anyting i should be looking out for in particular? and general views of diesel golfs? and what should i be paying for a decent one?

    Sdi is the non turbo engine and is dog slow, best avoided.

    yes, very true. i would be gunning for a TDI hopefully .

    there quiet low to the ground compared to other cars so check the underbody very carefully.
