Depends on the size of the screen tbh! If its 15 inch then probably around €100- 120

If your comfortable enough with opening/working with computers you could replace the panel yourself, easy enough thing to do once you take your time. Can get LCD panels on ebay cheap enough (obviously get one which suits your laptop).
Just look for a service manual for your laptop, even look at youtube for lcd panel replacing tutorials :)

You can get it on adverts.ie http://www.adverts.ie/for-sale/computers/124/q_15%22+screen/ . It would be cheaper than on ebay.

Hi. I broke my laptop screen last week. Got it fixed by Broken Screen / ITCentral on Castle Street, Cork. Found them very good. They arrange courier for anywhere in the country, or you can drop it in if your living local. They get it done in an hour if you drop it in.

    Thanks, how much was it?

Id be sending it from Dublin which may add to the price

Price depends on the model. I paid €120, dropping it into the shop. You'd be able to check the price of the screen on their website. There's a request a quote form there as well. If you google broken screen, it'll be one of the first results.

If you think you can fix it yourself. I used this crowd
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=a9_sc_1?rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aaccupart+ltd&keywords=accupart+ltd&ie=UTF8&qid=1331063714 for a 15.6 screen. €60 including delivery. Site says 3 to 7 days for delivery to ireland but they had the screen with me in two days. Would reccommend them . You can also deal direct with their web site here http://www.accupart.co.uk/
