Seat belt receptors compatible with the '99 Mazda Familia

Finding a lot of issues with fitting a baby carseat safely into our mazda. The seat belt receptor (the female plug in part with the press button) is too long to safely house a lot of seats. They recommended replacing it with a shorter belt, so it does not come up out of the seat as much and will be safer.

I haven't found much information online about belts for this model, but there much be a compatible receptacle that is shorter. I can't imagine there are many types of seatbelt receivers. We have a '99 mazda familia (in the BJ family of Mazda 323, protege, familia and Ford Laser).

Does anyone know of a compatible receptor and how much they usually go for? Thanks so much!
