golf digest ireland looking for raters

    As for last year, GDI are looking for 40 amateur reviewers to review 15 courses each for their top 100 ranking... although from what i heard last year you can play many more, including the big courses, for free.

    Has to be worth throwing your name in the hat!

    Has anyone that has applied heard anything back yet regarding acceptance? I believe the introductory review course is this Sun 1st April and that entries closed 18th March but haven't heard whether my application was refused or accepted yet and hard to plan the weekend as a result. Thanks

    Heard nothing back yet, I'd hope to get a yea or nay by the latest Tuesday so I can go ahead and organise my golf for next weekend!

    Got an email today with the bad news stating that my application was not successful. Apparently they received over 1,000 applications for the 40 slots but no detail given as to how they selected the successful applicants. Disappointed but thanks to Kevin for posting initially as otherwise I'd have totally missed it and wouldn't have even been in with a shout.
    Was anyone successful?
