I am thinking of buying a Jaguar x type diesel 2.0. Does anyone have any info on this type of car and anything I should look out for.
    Thanks

Its a specd up Ford Mondeo.

Were you thinking petrol or diesel, and what budget?

The lower petrol models and the 2.0 diesel were FWD which is wrong for a Jag imo.

Ah the old ford monðeo reference..

In the same way that an Audi is a specced up skoda, and a Saab is a vectra, and a Lexus is a specced up yaris etc etc

With a squashed up front end & front grille, and the ass of an S-Type.

Then you'd have to get the estate version!
    Diesel, FWD and estate.
    That just screams Jag.
And while you're at it, treat yourself to a proper Aston:

Servicing.. the engine will do 200K plus, but only if serviced properly.
