    So here is a cool story. I think Bahrain needed 8 or 9 goals to qualify for the corruption fifa world cup in 2014.

    They didnt qualify.See World Cup 2012 thread.They missed out by a point.

    They needed to overturn a -9 GD in favor of Qatar and hope that they lost to Iran. It was to qualify for the next stage of qualifiers though, not to go straight to the WC.

    They scored the 10 they needed, but I'm happy to say Qatar scored a goal in the last five minutes to pick up a 2-2 draw and go through.

    Did something else not happen in one of the other matches that meant this was a worthless result anyway. Think someone scored a late equaliser or something.
