Thought I'd make a thread for players worth watching that are either hitting form/Have good fixtures/Coming back from injury/Playing out of position etc. Basically players that would make good differentials and that are likely to score in the coming weeks. This thread will save people from making a seperate thread for every different player that is worth a look.

I'll start it off..... with 2 players I already have and 2 others I'm keeping an eye on:

Stephen Ireland looks certain to take over from Bent for the rest of the season after a strong performance today. Priced at 5.3 and down as a midfielder and playing in the whole behind Gabby he also had plenty of chances today that he didn't capitilize and he made plenty of passes and crosses putting people through for potential goals. He was fantastic FPL-wise for Man City years ago playing in this position, he could definitely be worth a look.

Ryan Shotton Looks like he'll be taking over from Pennant although Pennant did replace Wilinson today and Shotton was pushed to right back. If Pennant stays out of the team (which is what Pulis has been suggesting) Shotton will remain as a winger. He's 4 million/down as a defender for a good defensive side and is playing on the wing. He put a few nice crosses in today.

Royston Drenthe Looks like he's back in contention for 1st team starts with Donovan gone and a great display against Blackpool in the FA cup, getting a goal and assist in their 2-0 win. He's an FPL machine when he gets the chance. Although a bit of a risk getting him in as proved at the start of the season, the risk could well pay off if he's stays in the first team. His price has also plummeted to 5.3, so a cheap option.

Pavel Pogrebnyak Just 6 million, he's scored in his past 2 games. He has a very nice 6 next fixtures except Man united in 3 weeks time. Looks like a good finisher and could be a good differential with very low ownership.

So you get the idea of the thread. If you can think of any other potential bargain than post it below.

Ryo Miyachi and Mark Davies. 4.9 and 4.8 respectively. The most likely candidates for Bolton and their upcoming fixtures are beautiful.

I like this ideas, nothing more satisfying than have a new player come and do the business.

Im looking at myachi due to fixtures and it allows me to bring in rooney and suarez for the double week.

Surman (NOR) - Wigan and Wolves at home over next few weeks. At 4.4 a nice cut-price option that could score well over the short term

    Yakubu.

He's more likely to score 2 against Wolves this week than Suarez is to score 1 in each of his games this double week. A lot of people will be getting Suarez in, so he's definitely worth a look for the differential folk.

it was either him or pog for Ba this week, went pog in the end.

Tomas Rosicky. 5.7 million and he seems to have nailed down a spot in the Arsenal midfield. 2 goals in his last 3 games and Arsenal's fixtures are pretty good from now until the end of the season.

(Our own) Keith Andrews. 2 goals and an assist in 2 1/2 games for WBA. Continuing his goalscoring form from the Championship. For 4.5m he could be a steal. WBA have some promising fixtures coming up

Morrison might be a better option if you're going for a West Brom midfielder.

Im contemplating him too, this weeks Myachi worked a treat hopefully more of the same.

David Hoilett. 2 goals last week showed his capabilities and Blackburn now have a decent enough run of games - Sunderland home, Bolton away, United home, West Brom away, Liverpool home, Swansea away, Norwich home.

I know United and Liverpool are in there but Blackburn tend to score no matter who they play under Steve Kean and already drew 1-1 with Liverpool at Anfield and beat United 3-2 at Old Trafford.

Hoilett IMO should actually be classed as a midfielder and that's the only reason I haven't had him all season. Players from the relegation threatened teams usually come to the fore towards the end of the season though and, as well as playing for safety, Hoilett is playing for a big money move because he'll be available on a free in the Summer.

keeping a close eye on walcott and rosicky.

gerrard too could be the mother of all differentials, seems to link up well with suarez (based on a single match though).

    Samir Nasri.

When on form he is a much greater goal threat than Silva and he looked very sharp against Chelsea. He took his goal superbly. Started the last 3 games and with Silva's form waning I expect him to be given more responsibility.

Thinking about him as a replacement for Dempsey going into GW32. 9.1m and City's fixtures are pretty good from that point on. Will wait and see.

Juan Mata. Very few have him. But he's a class act. Chelsea have had some tough fixtures but they have a very nice run in starting in a couple of weeks. Strongly considering getting him in for Dempsey

    Alternatives for Dempsey I'm watching

    Walcott
    Mata

    Will likely plump for Theo
