Access to ICT Labs on Weekends.

    Hi guys

    Im a part-time evening student, and need to find out about access to the ICT labs on weekends. Do you know who I'd need to speak to? Are there any other CompSCI networked computers in the Hamilton building? Is this opened on Sunday?

    When you say ICT labs, do you mean the two pre-fab huts outside the Ham? I'm not sure if they're open all the time on weekends. Or if they are, I think they close early enough (6 ish).

    Other than that, you can try LG12. As soon as you enter the Ham, there's a door to your left, that is swipe access. It's 24 hours too. They're all on the compsci network.

    Most of the machines in there are linux, but there are windows ones on the left hand side of the room.

    As for who to contact about the opening hours, I'd try security in the ham. I've been in the ICT huts until closing, and it was the ham security guards who came in and told me to leave.

    I could have sworn there was a page somewhere on the website listing building opening hours, but I'm having a hard time finding it again...

    I'd imagine that the ICT huts count as teaching labs. That means they open 9-1 on Saturday, and don't open Sunday at all. LG12 is probably your best bet in that case!

    Hamilton PC room is 24 hour access also. (through the door beside the shop, back of the building on the left)

    They're not SCSS machines though, and the OP asked for ones on the computer science network. Depending on what you need them for though, they might do just fine
