Any "older" musicians out there?

I mean peeps who have played in decent groups or bands and have passed their "sell by" date but definitely not their "best before" date!
Do you ever consider giving it a blast again? Do you still have your instrument / gear stored away for that comeback?

If that's you, I would be interested to hear from you.

Let's take late 40's as an age region.

I should add that I am based in North Kildare.

    I know you're out there - somewhere!

36 yr old bassist. spent my 20s in an original band in dublin, then in a couple of covers bands for a few years up to last year. havent done anything since the summer. still have most of my gear. moved to cork but cant really find anyone on the same wavelength as myself, but to honest i havent looked to hard as work has been a prioity. I'm getting itchy fingers though....

    Hi,
Was a drummer in bands in the late 70's through the 80's in North Wales.
Appeared on S4C on a live talent show (twice) and also a pre-recorded magazine programme playing live.
Can sing harmonies or take up the mantle of lead vocals when required.
Still have my kit but have not played professionally for a while but hey! it's like riding a bike.
    Based in Newbridge.
    Give me a shout regardless.

Thanks for your responses peeps. Ironically, this post has led to an offer for me to work on a project and I have decided to take up that option.
I hope you guys pick something up soon.
    Thanks again.
