ducting advice - sizes

    Can someone point me in the direction of ducting guidence for underground cables

    a) for power

    I have read the above - but does this also apply for power my side of the meter (e.g. to septic tank pump)

    b) guidence for
    ducting for TV, Cat 5, etc

    Anything after the meter you can use whatever size and gauge ducting that you want really as long as its red to show they contain electrical cables. SWA cables laid directly in soil are fine also. There is however minmum depths outlined in the ETCI wiring rules.

    For tv you can just use coaxial cable and for phone cat 5 can be used. Both ran through ducting of course (usually green ducting i think) but there is maximum lengths they should be ran in so as not to lose signal quality.
