    hi gang

i have a galaxy s2 that i bought before xmas.

i notice that i spot that i have a text message or a call about an hour later, by accident.

since the missed call notification/sms notification can only be found by going to notifications.

is there a way of getting these notifications on the screenlock screen or something like that so that you can see immediately if you've receive a text or a call since locking screen?

    thanks

    ed

Well they should be on the lock screen if you hadn't already cleared the notification. If you want to do a small bit of modding, you can get the lights for the soft keys at the bottom of the screen to stay on when you have a missed call/text/new email.

You would need to put a compatible kernel on your phone and then just installed the app BLN. This would be rooting your phone. Takes 5 mins.

Alternatively have a look for NoLED on the market, don't think it needs root access and flashes a notification on your screen even when it is off
