    Guys,

    On my android i had an app to turn of my 3g when i was away from wifi. I just used to just turn it on when i needed it


    Does this exist for the iphone 4s?

    iPhone 4s has the ability to turn 3G on/off in the settings!

    Ta, as did the android. It was just easy to press an icon to turn ot on/off

    If you jailbreak you can. If you don't want to jailbreak it, install the following and it creates a shortcut:

    http://brdrck.me/settings/network

    I used to use this until I jailbreakee it. No issues with it at all. There's also others for turning off Bluetooth/wifi etc

    op be careful as turning off 3g doesn't turn off data altogether, just the 3g radio, edge and gprs will still work

    you have to disable data altogether

    There used to be a switch for this but it's gone. It should be back in the next update.
