Hi, is it a company you will be working for, or will you be working for yourself, and invoicing a company.

If you are an employee, your tax would be taken care of through the PAYE system. If you are going to work for yourself, you would need to register with Revenue as a sole trader (if the income is above €3175 per year, after expenses). You would then make tax returns, and pay any tax due on an annual basis.

Hi perfect thanks I will be working for myself only as the company site just takes thier own admin fee before they release your money into your bank account. also they pay me through a uk bank account as its faster so should I get a free consultation with an accountant and mention this? as I am a permanent resident of ireland

If you can get a free consultation, it'd be no harm.

It should be easy for you to work out though, you'd only pay tax on the income earned less expenses (probably the cost of getting set up, equipment etc).

So for example, let's say you earn about 12000 per year. And your expenses are 1000. You would only pay tax on 11000 from there.
