Really want this position, is there anything I can do?

I applied for a position on Hireland just yesterday. Just looking at the details, I knew it was right up my alley. I really want it and think I'd be really good at it.
On my cover letter I basically told them how interested I was in their company, how good I was at the skills required. I sold myself completely; told them how useful I'd be to them and all that.
I still don't feel like I've fully expressed how suited for this position I am, however. I was looking at the company's phone number and thinking about doing a follow-up call, but I don't want to seem too pushy or put them off. What's the best way to follow up on this?
