I'm always on the lookout for any decent books, from a historical military viewpoint, to an historical exploration viewpoint, to wreck exploring and discoveries, to just good old sea stories.

maybe we can get this thread stickied and have a little recommend reading suggested in here?

I'v just finished Tim Severin's "The Brendan Voyage" about a month ago,
And just watched the documentary they filmed while on the voyage.

Its a must read for anyone interested in Irish history and adventure.

Got that for christmas the year it came out. Bloody fascinating read!
