No Passport - Help?

I wasn't quite sure where to post this, so I decided to post here. Well basically I have been living in Ireland for 15 years and still have not received a passport. This is extremely troublesome as it completely hinders my ability to travel and make use of my Summer holidays. I have a Garda National Immigration Card but I am aware that this does not count as an ID.

I wish to travel to England in the time between June and July for visiting purposes (mainly attending 2 concerts - Hugh Laurie and Download Festival) I am originally from Pakistan and would just like to know what I should do? I hear of people travelling around Europe with an ID Card; what is a valid ID Card? I do not own a drivers licence. I am extremely frustrated as I was supposed to receive my passport last July but didn't and missed out on a holiday. Should I go ahead and apply for a UK Visa? Who can I get in touch with to complain about my passport? I have sent countless letters in the past to the Department of Immigration and I have not gotten anywhere with it. I really think I am entitled to my passport because I have lived here all my life and its practically home to me.

Someone please advise me as I am litterly clueless. Also, is a Student USIT card good enough to travel?
    Thanks.

I don't think you're going to get the answer you're looking for in this forum. I'll try moving it to Legal Issues. Those people might know.

Go into your local passport office and ask them about it.

Alternatively, you can reapply using passport express and track the progress of your application online using a number which you will be given in the post office.

    Are you an Irish citizen?

Have you applied for Irish Cutizenship? Where is your Pakistan passport you will need same to have your stamps put in it. If you are not Irish citizen then you will require a visa for travel to Europe. As most of Europe is shengan travel within the shengan area usually requires only ID unless the person is a visa required national.

If you are EU stamp4 then you can travel within EU once you are traveling with your EU citizen partner, but some countries do not correctly deal with that issue so best to check before travel.
