Camera Valuation on Pentax Z-70p

    Hi guys,

wondering can someone on here help me. I've had this Pentax Z-70p SLR Film Camera for years. It was a present from Japan, and the instruction manual is in Japanese so I never really got to grips with it as I only ever dabbled in photography in college as part of my course. Anyway, a few people from a local camera club have expressed an interest in taking it off my hands, they seem to like using film over digital and I didn't want to sell as like I say, it was a present but find myself needing some cash now so am reluctantly letting it go.

The problem is I have no frame of reference as to a fair price as I can't find anything like it for sale online. Could any knowledgable people help me out with valuing it? I'm attaching a picture to help things along. If it's not going to be worth much I'd rather keep it, but the interest in it makes me think otherwise!

    Thanks (in advance) :)

Ebay completed listings is normally a quick way of seeing whay something is worth (i.e. what people are willing to pay for it). In this case there are a bnch of no sales, and a couple of completed sales at about £20 or so. It's an entry level pentax body by the looks of things, with presumably some slow kit lens. I'd see if you can get someone to offer €50 for it. Or stick it up on adverts for €100 and see if you get any bites.

If it's a decent film camera, I wouldn't mind it myself! ;) It would work with all the Pentax glass I have for my digital as well.
