A quick question, hopefully a quick answer:o I've been offered an 18 month old gaming pc,far better than the dell dimension 8300 I'm using now,(using xp) have to use my hard drive though. Can it just be swapped over into the new yoke fully loaded,I mean without formatting. I realise drivers for the hardware in the new one will have to be installed etc, but could I expect it to actually run.

If you didn't want to reformat you'd need to delete all drivers for old hardware on your harddrive completely. It'd be a lot of hassle to do as opposed to just backing up important files and formatting.

Thats my experience anyway maybe others had success doing it.
