Effect of low water pressure in heating system?

What would the symptoms be of low water pressure in a domestic heating system?

We have U/F heating which has been ok, but not great this winter. I just noticed that the water pressure was very low, 0.9bar, so opened the valve, and topped it off to around 2.5bar.

I was just curious as to what the effect would be? Dead zones, slow water flow??

2.5 bar is too much,as when heating is turned on the pressure will rise and when it reaches 3 bar your safety valve should "lift" . 0.9 bar is not very low,1-1.5 bar is the norm
