scope rings

    does any body know the proper rings to use on a cz 17hmr american
    with a 50mm objective
    im using the ones from my old cz .22 deuxe 11 mm dovetail
    but the listing for the 17 says 3/8 of an inch dovetail
    is there a difference and what is it

    3/8" is 9.53 mm rounded off , so its only about 1mm in the difference the nearest you will get to 11mm in imperial is 7/16" which is 11.1 mm.

    Do the rings tighten on the dovetail? If they are good and tight it shouldn't make a difference.

    The rings on my marlin go from over 13 mil down to about 9.
