    Anyone else update MC yet? I'm tinkering around with it at the moment.

    The new Jungle biome is pretty cool. Very easy to get lost and it's difficult to judge the time of day. Also, it blocks out the sun, so monsters have free reign.

    But it's cool using the vines to climb to to tops of the jungle (and building a little tree house there).

    I don't actually know how much stuff is in the update. The video I posted in the Minecraft Funnies thread gives a few of the better ones. It'll take a while to find them all, I guess.

    Be warned if you're thinking of updating, though:

    Firstly for those who didn't know, not many mods will work until the mod themselves are updated (and this means online servers won't work for you).

    Secondly, it's buggy. It's already on 1.2.2 and crashes a fair bit.

    So you may want to wait a while for it to be stabalised.

    See if you notice a huge increas in ore. I'm in the jungle biome, so don't know if it's specific to that or to the map I've got loaded, but there's more ore than I could need. And plenty of gold fairly high up, near the surface, too.

    the is a noticeable increase in the amount of ore, I seeing coal and iron all over the place.

    Ooh, I just found that they've put ruins in the jungle. I know it's not much to be impressed with, but I've been pretending to be Indiana Jones for the last while and this really helps.
