Select "load fail-safe defaults" restart and see where you get.

The BIOS sees the hard disk (80GB) so it's just not booting from it.

You might want to obtain an operating system cd (if it's xp get an xp one) in case you need to do a repair.

Can you press F10 to save and exit? Does it load up passed this screen at all?

Looks like a faulty HD. In the bios look for an option to enable SMART for the hard disk. Also you may want to run a bootable diagnostics scan, such as SeaTools. Can get them on the UBCD, just burn to a blank cd on working machine and boot off it HDD>Diagnostics>Seatools for DOS. Do a long advanced scan.

Turn it off, disconnect the power then reconnect the power and turn it on again. If the same happens again, the CMOS battery has probably given up the ghost. (easy to replace though)

OT Tip: reduce the shared memory if possible, you have 256 MB RAM installed, half of it goes to the graphics chip, leaving only 128 MB for the OS, precious little even for XP.
