Its currently on sale for 29.95 on the website, and you can get an extra 10% off when using this code: PP412 - or when /I bought it I got another code for 15% off, so try VVNG-LNVL-NOSW-QPLZ. Its amazing.

I often think those portraits they invariably use to advertise these products look vastly better before they've had some semi-automated plasticination procedure applied to them, making them look faintly artificial and exactly like the 5 gazillion previous portraits that have had the same thing done to them.

Actually, interesting article here from the magazine Intelligent Life, they put an un-retouched picture of Cate Blanchett on their cover, it garnered quite a bit of comment across the internet.

I think portrait professional tends to take things a step too far.

Maybe if you're big into glamour type stuff and couldn't care less about the model, it'd be good for you. I do think re-shaping someone's face is a bit much though.

Imagenomic's portraiture is pretty solid, in my opinion. You can go from untouched to slightly ridding the harshness of the wrinkles and spots to completely wiping the face clean. None of which has an affect on shape of the model's face.

It's also somewhat predictable and so, can be used in 'bulk' to process lots of images in a single go (something I don't think Portrait professional does?).

But anyway, yeah. Portrait Professional isn't my cup of tea at all. Maybe if you're shooting for advertisements of products or such. Not something you'd use on someone who has hired you, in my opinion.

I bought this purely for fun - my teens are having a ball with it.
its good for smoothing out skin texture and at 25 euro with a free upgrade its worth it just to have for those times when someone wants your picture and you can iron out some wrinkles and creases and make yourself look 10 years younger. ;)
Ill post some pics later when I get used to using it.
