Run a half marathon without having done any long runs

    hi there

would love some advice please - i'm thinking of making a very last minute entry in a half-marathon this weekend (well i'm being persuaded), the only thing that's stopping me is the fact that i've done no long runs in preparation for it.
i run three to four times a week, my regular run would be 5 miles and I do a 7 mile at weekends. Would that be enough preparation or am I crazy to even contemplate entering?
I've run a few 1/2 marathons over the last few years but that last time I ran over 8 miles would be last August

thanks in advance for any advice

Because your running 4 times a week you definetly get to 10 miles, so if you run it a bit slower than your 7 mile pace you should make it.

Be sore the next day though.
