I have a problem. It's not a bad problem to have but a problem all the same.

I finished a short internship recently. I interviewed for another last week with company A. I got offer from them yesterday. However I had another interview this morn for similar position with compsny B. Now my preference would be for company B whom I met this morning.

However company A want an answer by lunchtime today whereby company B won't have an answer until lunchtime tomorrow. I explained this to company A. I don't want to accept company A and then maybe have to rescind if company B makes offer. I also don't want to fall between two stools so to speak!!

    Advice needed badly!!

You could verbally accept company A, but be sure not to sign any contract until you know one way or the other with Company B.

I considered this but I don't want to screw them as they have someone else in line in case I don't take it so my decision would effect them too !!

Fair enough, maybe you need to just put the pressure on Company B then. Unless you can buy some time with Company A by asking them to send info on the full package etc

I hear what your saying. Not much I can do to delay compsny A as they originally wanted an ans yesterday and put it of until today!! Company B are interviewing again in the morning so can't give me anything before then.

I guess I will have to accept company A.
A bird in the hand and all that eh!!
