Hi Folks...I have been scanning the threads trying to find an answer, but just wondering if there are any other fellow converters out there that have done a bathroom/toiletroom. I am just wondering what everyone has used to cover the walls to keep them waterproof? Any comments would be much appreciated!

    Cheers

I have converted 2 vans the first I put a shower and toilet in. I covered the walls with fablon its the sticky back plastic u buy in a role. It looked good but dont know how well it worked as the bathroom only ever got used to store wet suits in it.
The second van i have an out doorshower to rinse off after surfing and a portaloo in a box for emergencies.
Its alot of work putting in a shower room u should think carefully whether u will use it

I work with a plastic material called whiterock its a plastic sheet 2.5 mm thick 1220 wide and 2500 long its used for showers kitchens etc. there is a cheaper alternative to it http://www.accessplastics.com/content/1438 it can be stuck to walls and corner pieces added etc.

Thanks Lads, very useful. I am a surfer myself and love the hot shower before heading back to Dublin after a weekend away. Have vinyl laminate right now and it does the job but looks crap!

Might try the whiterock. Thanks for the replies!!
