I have the galaxy s for three months now and although the software works fine, the internet, both data and wi-fi are an absolute shambles. The worst ive ever seen. I might as well have an old fashioned dial up connection. Weather I'm in the city or out in the suburbs, inside or outside, it is the same, slow at best, and alot of the time does not load anything at all. will never let me view pictures on facebook, only half the time it will let me watch videos (no matter the website).

Any body else find this, Is it a problem with the phone or is it down to absolute sh1te service from meteor. Im half thinking of selling the galaxy s and getting the iphone but there may be no advantage in doing this if it is down to service of meteor.

Any taught's, anyone facing a similar problem??

I'm having those problems with Meteor too on and off but you're saying that it's happening over wifi too. Wifi connections wouldn't have anything to do with Meteor's network so there might be something wrong with your phone

I have an irritating on and off data connection with meteor. It's driving me crazy.

not sure if this helps but im on three and had the same problem after i got my new phone, took it back to the shop and the lad basically told me to disconnect from the network and reconnect and it does actually solve the problem.

if i notice it slowing i go to settings -> mobile network -> disconnect. then settings -> network selection -> search -> select 3 reconnect to mobile network and the connetion goes back to highspeed.

couldnt even load facebook newsfeed the other day, did this and then set my phone as a wireless hotspot and even on my laptop the pages were loading up in miliseconds.

    worth a try anyway,

Used to happen to me when I had the S2. Pages either would fail to load or take ages to do it.

Couldn't tell if it was Meteor's faults or the phones, but if I press and held the power button and turn data on and off it would fix the problem till the next time.
