Hi, I am trying to input coordinates that are given as Lat 52.158 Lon -8.77 on the places website.
My Garmin sat nav just seems to have N,S,E & W on the coordinates section. It also doesn't seem to allow the minus symbol.
    How can I solve this?

The convention is that for latitude, North is +ve and South is -ve, for longitude West is -ve and East is +ve. Latitude is relative to the equator and longitude relative to the Greenwich meridian.

Sorry Alun, I did a search after I posted the question and sorted it. I forgot about it then. Thanks anyway.
