If you got a pay rise what would you do with it?
Would you do the "right thing" and pay off debts..save it all away...or would you act like it was 2007 and buy a car..a swanky holiday..a second home??

If I got a payrise that allowed me the car and the swanky holiday, then that. Less than that, pay of debts, maybe go out for am extra night out.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I've no idea what you'd do if I got a pay rise.

I'd be sensible and save a little more.

One thing is for sure. I'd pay more tax.

As boring as this sounds I would save it, one thing the bust has thought me you can never be certain and its good to have a reserve.

If I got a payrise I'd realise it was an incremental increase allowed under the CPA & I'd laugh at the poor bastards in the private sector.

I'd drink a litre of urine, then book a holiday somewhere warm.

That reminds me, must check lotto.....

And whats going to prolong this bust is people doing exactly what you describe. Saving and not spending. Can't say I blame people for being careful with their cash, especially with all the uncertainty at the moment. I guess its all about confidence in the future.

I'd buy some magic beans. The last 40 times I bought some didn't go so well but I feel the law of averages should mean that this time when I buy them they'll actually be magic.

I'm feeling lucky any way (unless I misread that law).

And that is the crux of it and I am still not that confident about the future, the government is still not finished increasing my taxes, there is food and energy inflation looming and the Euro is still in trouble.

I would use it to hire some bounty hunter to clear out the brain eating grammer nazi basterds that like to occupy After Hours.

I read about them I suspect they are urban myths.
