    Hi,

I'm wondering what VAT rate should be charged on the sale of garden furniture such as benches, tables etc.

I presume if they are just being bought and resold it would be at 23%.

What if they are manufuctured by me and then sold? Would that be at 13.5%?

    Thanks

It would still be 23% as you're selling the item. It's not a service.

Ok, so if i put up fencing it would be at 13.5% and erected a garden shed rather than just selling it would also be at 13.5%?
