Just wondering has anyone ever done an interview for a deputy store manager in Lidl before? I have been invited to attended one of their regional distribution centres in a couple of weeks, the e-mail said the "assessment" will last three hours so from that I take that its a fairly thorough going over... I have found a few relevant threads but they are a couple of years old so if anyone has any up to date feedback it would be greatly appreciated.

    hi,
The assessment center involves a group of about 20 candidates. It starts with a brief intro on the company, a tour of the warehouse, an aptitude test and then a group task.
Depending on your progress, you may be called for interview after this.

That was my experience of it anyway!

Trust me, you do not want to go to this assessment, I went and got called back and got a job and trust me hell on earth doesn't describe what it's like. No training and you are expected to know everything and if you say anything your making excuses. Stay well clear!!
