Try oceanicogolf.com. They organise packages and/or just tee times on their courses. Earlier in the day you play the more expensive.
Check weather & if it's not predicted to be too hot book midday tee times.
Btw the pro shops at oceanico hire clubs but its usually Callaway X20 type.

    Go with clubstohire.com (McGinley's site)

Pick 'em up at Faro & drop 'em back to Faro.
    Best choice & price.
    Simples.

    Enjoy :)

    Heading there in April myself.

Not much variation between the various agents in price, but it is significantly cheaper to tee off after noon. Have our tee-times booked for about 12.30 each day.

I used this www.justteetimes.com. Sent them (and others) an email outlining when and where we wanted to play and asked them to come back with quotes. Very helpful with several changes we had to make subsequent to that.

Was there last November, stayed in a Pestana hotel as there was a great deal if you played their courses. I do remember looking at the green fee prices in the hotel, they had them itemised for each course and I thought holy cow thats expensive. IMHO the cheapest way is to probably book a complete package but if that is not possible you should definately look into reserving tee times before you go. I used golfbreaks.com to book our package and have to say they were great. Another website you could try is yourgolftravel.com

One other thing. You don't mention your accomodation. The value with Villas is very good. Shopped around and got this one on Vila Sol.

€1200 for 8 of us (4 couples). There's cheaper ones available too.

    +1 on clubstohire.com!! :D
I have used them 5 or 6 times now and always easy! If you don't like the putter they supply with the set you can usually change it when you pick the clubs up. The price makes it a no-brainer over lugging your own over and back!!

Looking forward to seeing how these materialise. Three of our crew are using them, they look top notch. Great business model.

I couldn't bear to leave mine at home though.....;)

Hi I arranged a trip this year through teetimes.pt details below. First time to use them as previously used Cassidy Golf. Very helpful and will use again. Played Laranjal, Quinta do Lago North, Val do Lobo Royal and Ocean. Excellent courses and free transfers if you stay in Villamoura. The only course I might add is the Old Course
