    Hi there,

I've recently set up an AirPort Extreme Base Station with two hard drives, one for Time Machine back ups and the other as a media library. All seems to have been working fine untill I connected my iPad. When connected I received the following iTunes error:

The iTunes Library.itl file is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have write permission for this file.

The drive I am using is a G-Drive 2 TB unit. This has been working fine for playing music on iTunes.

When I look at the sharing & permissions for the drive it shows as no assess for user everyone & read & write for user (unknown).

I do not seem to have an option for ignore user permissions even though I am loged on a an administrator.

    I am running OSX Lion.

I would be most grateful if somebobdy could advise on how I can resolve this issue.

    Many thanks,
    Joe.
